When's the next Double XP dropping?

A question to all you RS veterans out there who know the ins and outs.
Only joined RS again in the past month or so and loved the DXP period, is there a DXP season that drops around Christmas? New Year? I'm guessing it isn't just random

Okie dokie. Hopefully when it comes around again I get another pack of 1,000 protean traps :P
With my pack of 1,000 I went from Hunting level 44 to 61 haha

Think it's 3 normally but on top of that xmas events etc give big xp too

I had almost 4K traps, lol. Proteans are great. So are silverhawk boots. I always save all my proteans and dummies and boosters/cores and silverhawk feathers/down for dxp. Such fantastic xp. Especially for hunting, which I hate to level normally.

Judging by the gap between DXP weeks the next one will be in either March/April.

Think every dxp has been feb, they varied a little before that when they were bonus wk ends with different rules on xp

Yep they base dxp around our lockdowns obviously :)
The may one was for that reason though

much better now btw, they used to be over a single weekend without the hours limit or pause mode, so the last 2 with pause has been really good
Then before that the bonus xp got lower and lower as you played

Did they announced that ? This is the first year there's been 4 and one of those was a bonus one due to lockdown in the UK
Have jagex actually said it's quarterly next year onwards?

They've done 3 a year in the past but thought maybe I'd missed a announcement and they swapped to 4 a year with people posting it was quarterly

They usually do it in Feb I think, theres been 3 a year lately
