Using a controller
I use an xbox controller on my PC with most games, due to nerve damage. Is it now possible to use a controller with Runescape?

Technically through Steam you can use a controller, however there is no official support for this so results may vary.

I've played OSRS and RS3 since they came out & love them. It's the only game I still play that I have to WASD tho lol. I was hoping there would be controller support when I saw it was coming to Steam. A girl can dream. Maybe one day 😊 lol

Give it some time and I'm sure someone will make it supported for the game :) many people are using xbox controllers on Steam so I'm sure of it!

If you haven't already you can try a steam controller. They have options to have one of the joystick areas (not really joysticks) be used as a mouse and it works pretty fluidly. I don't know how it would pair on Runescape but it works with other games decently well.

The steam controller is made for games that does not support gamepads. However, Steam does not sell them anymore sadly.

Runescape wouldn't really even function correctly on a controller anyway. There are just too many inputs and not enough binds for a controller.

But you could move the cursor with a controller and keybind some of the buttons to the most usefull things

Technically Mkb I suppose...just easier to say WASD. I guess movement could at least be mapped to a controller...and everything else would use mkb.

I really wish i can use controller also. Joy stick to move around, Left toggle to select target. A=1, B=2, X=3,Y=4, Right toggle to change hotkeys for ABXY, Right Toggle (1) Loot area. Sorry only spent 30 mins in game hehehe. I got tired of clicking around ^_^ I don't know if there are more complex key combinations that will be presented in my future in this game :)
