30-45 fps with high end PC
Ultra preset on high end pc and yet i have only 30-45 fps in Priff.
EDIT: FOUND SOLUTION FINALLY!!! Set process priority to high and fps went from 45-50 to stable 200 maxed.

I believe once it gets to ~5gb is when your fps normalizes. If you teleport to a new area right now, I guarantee it will be extremely laggy when you do, and then it normalizes after a few seconds. I think it takes around 2 hours for the cache to fill itself out and stabilize your frames.

I doubt OP has a highend PC, i don't even know why he needs to claim such a thing even if he does

Please check under settings, graphics that there is no frame limit present. Moving from client to steam i have to report no change myself. Also leave the lobby open for 5 minutes for cache to configure, it may help

I claim such a thing because runescape is not so graphically taxing as other games out there so there is no reason why high end pc should struggle with it.

RTX 2080 and 3950X

you're just in the wrong world, choose a closer world for beter ping and less populated area you will see 60+ fps also check your graphics if you locked your fps down, background is 15 fps foreground 15 standard

No issues on my 10yo PC and my new PC too.
Even in very populated worlds. I suspect it could be FPS limited indeed!

False. That is osrs. rs3 was rewritten in C++ so it uses what it can. but it is mostly gpu bound now days so if you have a terrible gpu then you will suffer
