RIP runescape pre EoC update

I liked runescape before it became a WoW clone, sure OSRS exists but I really liked the quests so it's sort of a stagnant world

all mmo's are the same now. runescape was actually unique before all of this

Runescape just evolved, simple as that. People can move on with the changes some people can't. Calling it a Wow clone is quite wrong i'm afraid. Coming from an OSRS player. :)

Positive reviews will help Runescape (RS3 and OSRS) grow and will make the game better in the end. Would be stupid to bomb negative reviews when you are still playing.

Runescape allows people to play however they want. There is a setting where you do not need to use abilities and can play the way pre-eoc or OSRS works. That's one of the things that is so great about Runescape. Ultimate customizable and play however you want. That can be challenging for new players to dig through menus but it just takes a couple of minutes of asking someone around or checking the runescape wiki.

Like any other MMO, wiki's and googling will always be helpful given how large the game is.

There is a 2007 version of the game called OSRS that is pre EOC and HD updates it is coming to steam in 2021, but i would recommend at least giving the game a chance before you just ♥♥♥♥ post. just my 2 cents.

pre-eoc everyone made fun of RS2 for being ♥♥♥♥♥♥ compared to WoW
now the same people are complaining is RS3 is too similar to WoW
