RS3 is the scam capital of all games, along with EVE online and a couple of other things that aren't exactly games (like Second Life). And the best part is Jagex does nothing about scammers. You'll see hijacked accounts spamming phishing links on half the populated servers in-game, scammers, lurers, all sorts of degeneracy, all over the place. They literally duped trillions of gold into the game and crashed the economy 2-3 months ago. The rich elitist old players became richer and the poor poorer - gold got devalued big time because Jagex failed to roll back in time. Most incompetent devs ever.

I think we should let in-game scammers do their thing. EVE Online and old Runescape wouldn't have been so fun if we stopped scammers altogether.

Then again, I can see some players rage quitting after getting scammed.
