Opinions of people who have never played the game or haven't played since 2012, which judging by your baseless and ill informed argument, is clear to be the case, are not valid and should not be considered by new players.

I hope the people that come to view these discussions to obtain a clear and valuable review of the game they are looking into completely disregard this comment by the OP entirely. Enjoy your bitterness and I hope you are able to age out of it and open your mind to new concepts. It felt like an actual living world. Minigames popped at all hours of the day, Seers Bank, Camelot Castle, and Falador Park trading was insanity (Camelot was mostly a chill hangout). S/O my boy Sal who's guides were always on point.

I'm good on Runescape in general, but i'd rather play RS3 at this point. OSRS doesn't invoke nostalgia for me, it just makes me sad looking at what they did to my boy.

I started playing in 2001. RS2 was a welcome change, but I wouldn't go back to it. RS1/RSC is just nostalgia for me, and I wouldn't go back to it.

Before RS2 the trading spot was the center of Varrock. In RSC there was also trading in Draynor, and Yanille because of the cert system that got removed in RS2. I don't remember all of the locations for certs. Things like Castle Wars were added in RS2. I don't like most of the minigames.

Well osrs is kinda boring and requires close to 0 skill to play. Rs3 requires good coordination and actual skill to pvm. Bye osrs :)

I prefer 3. I HATE the combat on OSRC its awful. been playing for 15 years so i know the pain of grinding. Used to grind when runescape was hard and long. Now runescape 3 is alot faster and just throws xp at you. But i don't care since the bosses for me are the main game. Plus OSRC has a runelight that pretty much tells you how to fight a boss and that's the awful! Learn it yourself or don't bother. yet people complain at 3 when you have to learn the combat abilities.

Its vertex low poly artwork? and a old game but very playable still, if you really dont like it, then you just dont like the artstyle thats fine. Rs3 has a hand painted one that i like but i also love the old style using not much textures and mostly vertex color, it gives it more performance and easier to do than making a texture seamless. Rs2HD had textures and vertex paint, i loved that era the most. Rs3 since its now upgraded got rid of most the vertex coloring i believe and just has artist paint the 3d models.
