by adding tax you encourage people to move back to original way of trading. tax does not reduce items floating in the game, it just pisses players off. if old school runescape did not become so easy as it is now, the game would retain slower item gaining. the game needs things like random events and death mechanism that actually punishes you.

honestly i do like the increased bank space idea as it can allow for end game accounts not having to do as many bank cleanouts (especially f2p) but some of the other stuff might need to be worked on (honestly i think the only people criticizing the update so heavily are the idiots that want the game to stay the same until either they die or the game dies)

For one, they talk about money being an issue, then they charge out the ying yang for added bank space. The space idea is good, but they talk about prices. SMFH

by the way, I have two bonds I will trade for a gift game or something. It can be a cheap one, I quit if this is the ♥♥♥♥ they are going to do. No sense in them going to waste. I think the Tomb Raider games are running at several dollars a piece.

Jagex you need help. Before doing something at least put it on the votes.

How about you pull the GE tax part too?

Money being an issue is regarding there being too much money. That is why a ge tax is being suggested, a gold sink construction item is being suggested, and purchasable bank spaces are being suggested. All three of these will serve as money/item sinks.

Also, at least to me, the first 3 bank space purchases are affordable. 8 million coins for 120 bank space is affordable. A player is not required to pay for all bank slots either. I will personally be buying just the 1mil slot because I dont have a full bank yet. And with authenticator and bank pin an extra 24 bank space more will be given for free.

If we can't vote on the GE tax system im out. Been subbed for 17 years and this is the way to kill the game. What was wrong with the tax system in duel arena that you guys had? removed tons of billions gp every hour

Well, I'm not logging in till the verdict comes out. If they do it, I will either be giving my bank away to someone or having a hella drop party in Falador. I have over 26k yew logs, around 500 mithril bars. About 600 addy bars and around 900 addy ore. I have around 56k maple logs, a metric poo ton of gems, a bunch of good runes. Several thousand chaos, around 1200 Death, over 20k addy arrows, about 15k mith arrows, and so much more. If it goes through, be there or be square. someone might as well enjoy my hard work if Jagex decides to piss me off for the final time.

Edit. I forget how many. I have a ton of magic and redwood logs. Guess I will have to use one of my bonds to do the party. I know I have quite a bit of good stuff. Can't be assed to log in to inventory. As I said. I am not logging in till the verdict is out. Not wasting any more of my gaming time on it.

Annnd piss babies come in flocks not understanding why the game needs a market tax lol. Guildwars 2 TP has "The tax is 15 % total, 5 % listing fee and 10 % of your profits upon sale." and as far as i know has never had an economic crisis even with all end game gear that character/account binds on equip. Constant in and out of crafting materials.

I think a neat idea would to have a Varrock castle NPC that tells you how much they have brought in through the GE tax
