buying bond from steam

I'm not sure if this is where I'm supposed to type this but does anyone know why in the heck Steam/Jagex won't let me purchase a bond with the funds in my wallet? It just keeps saying payment refused!

I have been able to purchase bonds from my steam account recently. Are you using a card or the funds in your steam wallet? If using the wallet funds, make sure you have extra to cover the taxes.

I am using the funds in my wallet and I do have enough to cover the whole purchase, including taxes. I just wasn't sure if this was a common issue, but it's giving me the worst time.

I am having the same issue. Payment refused continuously. Called my bank and it seems that the payment is being rejected on their side and not from my bank. Does anyone have a solution?

Make sure you're buying it via steam and not from Jagex website as they are located in the UK and most banks will reject international transactions now. So make sure you set it up as a steam transaction.

Still same issue going on, bought bonds 2 months ago with my steam wallet. I logged on osrs via steam, clicked the open store in game, and were sent to google browser and paid. Now i only get refused.

Did anyone find a solution to this problem?

"I can assure you that you can still purchase bonds through our third party providers, such as Steam, google play or Apple."

This means that the problem here is still active.

2 months ago i bought bonds from my wallet, tried again last weekend. The jagex relpy came yesterday

Google play and Apple make a lot of sense. It'd be wild if they didn't accept payments from there.

I can only purchase from third party due to them being located in UK. I don't play currently but i believe the last time I bought a bond, I used Steam. It should still direct you through the Jagex website to do so, but it comes from your wallet instead of a card.

Yes, tried both now. Payment with steam wallet doesnt work. By card in jagex laucher works.

Just pretty annoying to use more money when I have lots in the steam wallet that could have been used 😅
