the smoke staff has a hidden +10% accuracy & damage bonus for standard spells, on top of requiring 93 slayer for the boss that drops it
Seems a bit silly to spend 2mil+ just to train a stat faster, but then thinking about it for even a second and you realize that's......that's kinda the entire game.
It's specifically the 1/4000 drop that makes the Mist variant more expensive? Are the 'Superior' spawns really that bad to make those sub-1/400 drop rates not factor in?
And the Smoke staff having a hidden bonus the others don't get is just cheating, where's the justice for all the others? :v
Dust staff has niche use, i only used it at ZMI altar when doing runecrafting. Crumble undead? Huh? Oh that spell... lul

Mist... why would someone use it? @@
Its all about usefulness, rarity and demand.
Edit: Mostly its rarity and demand, cause some things arent as useful as what you pay for.
