Maybe killing the giant bosses, I guess? You're not going to be earning a bond off of it but you should get enough money to help with your skills if that's all you're after.
If you're thinking of earning a bond in f2p your best bet is probably to be a cute noob and hope someone notices you, I guess.

Unless you're playing mini games (which are pretty much all members only) you'll never make "fun" money. The entire core game play loop or RS is grinding to eventually grind some more in a slightly less tedious way. Nothing you do will ever be really fun because in the interest of making money, you'll be following a guide pretty strictly to maximize profit yields over and over again.

My opinion, just go grind somewhere not super serious with other people where you can strike up a conversation with, time will pass before you know it. Go cut oak logs as they're the highest selling f2p log and the competition isn't too high and they're very fast to harvest with rune hatchets. Killing giants under Varrock is a pretty good way to grind combat levels and get some stackable loot like random runes, arrows, gems and gp stacks, can also grind prayer with big bones. Once you get high enough in combat skills then the giants become a non threat and you can just collect loot from easy kills. You can also fish lobsters or swordfish and sell them raw but that means going to Karamja. Picking up ashes from fire lines in GE is also an ok amount of money and you can read everyone trying to run scams for fun (free armor trimming).

Making money in f2p is not fun, its not easy either, you either grind out yews take wine of zammy or pick up spider eggs

in some countries the membership is like 35 bucks. I can understand why people say they cant pay that monthly.

Also I would like to ask before i bother trying the game, if F2p is at least a good way of getting a feel of what the game really is, before deciding to dump 35 bucks a month to access more content,

I guess it is, give it a try by completing all the f2p quests. But obviously the game becomes more interesting when you unlock all the skills that the member brings.

about lobsters and swordsfish is it really profitable? GE prices seems to be so low.
