Steam Guard & Stronghold of Security

I play through Steam and have Steam Guard (Steam's 2FA) fully setup and active, but it won't let me claim rewards (Claiming that I still need to set up Steam Guard), what gives?

ya, this has been a thing for a while... many people have complained about it... jagex is more worried about promoting streamers and PVP.

It wants you to set up 2fa for your jagex/runescape account not for your steam.

I mean that makes sense if not for the fact that an account created through steam has no associated jagex login info other than the steam account... so essentially they want you to register your info with them and create a jagex account to complete the game... idk how this is even allowed on steam without a warning that an account is required.
