[Resolved] Unable to connect to Steam. Please wait and try again.

Edit: The issue has cleared up for me. Has it started working for everyone else now too?

Normally, this is fixed by resetting my internet or just waiting a bit but I've already done that and tried my mobile connection. Nothing. I can't login, nor even attempt to connect an account right now.

Anyone else? Is the client-Steam connection fundamentally broken right now?

i've been having the same problem too. Went to look on the osrs twitter but nothing has been posted, rl works but seems the main clients bugged out

Exact same issue here. Happened before the update and hasn't been able to log me in since. Any resolution?

They've confirmed they're aware of the issue, though there doesn't appear to be a timeframe for when it will be fixed.

oh good.

I for one feel a lot better about the situation knowing they're at least aware of it... though I'm still annoyed it's happening and would have appreciated if they'd posted something here or had a moderator post a reply stating as much or something rather than just leaving people in the dark.

here's hoping it's fixed soon.
