60 FPS cap on foreground on a 144 Hz monitor.
The client caps at 60 FPS, but when I click away from the window, it caps at 144 FPS.
Not sure if it's supposed to cap to begin with, since someone with a higher refresh rate gets way less than his refresh rate on a powerful enough PC. See below.
This wasn't an issue yesterday. So I'm assuming the last system update caused this.
It's as if there's background FPS and foreground FPS implemented into the client like in the RS3 client, but they are switched around. Just a guess though.
Hopefully this gets fixed soon. It feels less smooth playing like this. And it doesn't make sense to have it this way... 60 FPS active and 144 FPS inactive.

Someone with a 240 Hz monitor has this issue as well. It locks at 60 FPS, but goes up to 200+ when clicking away from the client.

You ever look directly at a lightbulb then put your hand with fingers spread in front of your eye then shake your hand up and down or wave side to side? Or just blink violently? Thats what it feels like when you go from high refresh rate to a lower refresh rate.

Are you not embarrassed to having wrote this post? If the client offers variable framerate and stops doing it that is the problem, not your fragile ego because you can't afford better hardware.
