long lasting one is kind of better cuz it heals more and heals over time so you don't need to stop and heal if u get hit again but when you are low on hp and boss is attacking agrressively:
1; it takes longest to apply
2; before hp regen heals you enough you might get hit again and you won't have enough hp to survive.
also, I like to slap 3 7%dmg resist black peppers on and fast one fully upgraded has 2 extra charges meaning I get 60seconds longer 21% dmg resist than I do with other ones. ofc, that isn't that big a deal but just thought I'd mention it.
all in all. best one is probably first normal medium default one cuz it takes faster to use than long lasting one and heals more than even fully upgraded fast one.
if you can manage to crate opening when you want in boss fights and manage not to get hit right after then long lasting one would be better.
if you are agrressive and good with both dodge and deflects than fast one might be better.
all in all, it's mostly donw to player, their skill and preference. I suggest using first normal one and if you feel like you find enough time to use long one and avoid dmg for few second until it heals you enough not to die quickly then use long lasting one obviously. and if you are rly good at game then you might find the gimmicks of the fast potion more beneficial.
p.s. if you 100% all 3 levels and don't farm you sohuld have enough to fully upgrade two potions by the end and a bit extra. you'll prolly have to farm some boss a tiny bit (mutated odur obviously) to fuly upgrade third one too tho
anytime. i'm obsessed with the game so feel free to ask me anything you need to know or such about it, I'm always down to help out however I can.
I am uploading a Odur save file as we speak where I farmed to level 25 and got all first areas's plague weapon shards so people who find him too hard can maybe beat him and enjoy rest of the game.
I'll include oen where it's all same but I killed him. Ppl can then respec levels and decide not to use shards to ugprade in case they don't want too.
Plus there's fully 100% save for folks who lost theirs or wonna mess around with everything maxed.
back on topic. just stick with first one. it's both subjectively and objectively the best.
if you want extra heal or eneryg regen from ingredients and more hp overall then try long lasting one but make sure you have time to use it and avoid dmg for a little bit if you are low hp.
and fast one is only slightly faster to use but doesnt regen lot of hp. however has 2 extra chrages fully upgraded so you can have a full minute more of dmg resist/buff from ingredients and/or whatever secretp recipe effect you managed to mix together if you did.
If you can keep spoilers away , thanks
So far i have still to kill:
Mutated Odur / URD /Corvus
1-I guess fighting myself may end the game right?
2-And defeting all the other bosses may influence the ending?
3-My levels are 10/10/11 and Im not in a mood of farming .it seems to me Claw is the most useful as it gives energy and damage ....?
1- after that, yeah, it's the end but you dn't have to commit to the ending and wether you do or don't you can go back and replay any level. however all the shortcuts you opened will stay open as well as any placed pick-able items u picked will already be marked as picked but all enemies will respawn, inlcuding elites/mini-bosses and bosses.
2- bosses drop crucial quest items that are used in different endings, so, yes. depends which ending/items you choose to use. you can preview endings and when game asks "is this the truth" you can say no and preview another ending.
3- imho leveling plague is most useful since it lets you get rid of green wound dmg more easily. but putting a tiny bit in health is nice too so you don't die in some long combo attack. attack is also sometimes useful but you also have 3 talents that can increase it's damage and deflect with increased deflect damage is also a very useful dmg delaing tool if you are good at deflecting.
but tbh, as long as you put at least 10 in plague and at least 5 in health and attack you should be fine. I recommend putting 20 in plague and 20 in attack then 10 in health at max level/50. but tbh you should check what stat bonuses plague weapons you like using give and base your choice on that if you use plague weapons often.
I suggest going 5 5 10 and then a bit more in plague if you get hit during claw attack. bit more in hp if you keep getting killed by some combos or attack. bit more in attack if you don't find u have enough time to land many attack between enemies' attacks.
so, like, put plague to 10, then 5 in health, then 5 in attack if you want and then another 5 in hp or plague. then however u want from then on out.
I always play at level 10 with only 10 points in plague and rest on 1 and it's doable if you play souls and sekiro or bloodborne like games often.
long story short, a good bit in plague to delete green hp bar wound better, a bit in hp just so you can tank some combos and then maybe a tiny bit in attack. check stat bonuses for plague weapons you like to use.
ofc this is what works for me and how i feel it would be optimal. it's somewhat subjective so you could find a different placement of points better for you but I think putting at least a little bit in plague to make wound dmg disappear is sort of essential to making the game far easier.
p.s. katar's double tap alt attack is OP af if you invest in a bit of plague and gilding (mid-air) claw. especially if you farm shard for it and upgrade it.
Thanks bro
