Can't enter full screen with proper resolution.

I had no issues with the game in full screen, hit alt + enter to make it windowed. Went to revert back to full screen and the resolution is off. Tried various fixes and nothing worked. Any secret hidden settings menu i can't see?

so i get full screen but the game resolution looks to maybe take the bare min of the middle of my screen the "Margins" for lack of a better description are pitch black and therefore cuts off some of the edges of the game

we made an update a a few days ago, now your ALT + ENTER must be working. Could u check it?

Gonna check for you. Are you OswellT from discord? If not, disconsider this.
Also, you can try this:
1. Launch Steam client.
2. From the Library section, right-click on Who Needs a Hero? and select Properties from the menu.
3. Select the "Local files" tab and click the "Verify integrity of game cache..." button.
4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.

I was having the same issue. What fixed it for me was doing the following (I have no idea why it worked but it did...)
1. Launch Steam client.
2. From the Library section, right-click on Who Needs a Hero? and select Properties from the menu.
3. Select the "General" tab and look at the Launch Options section at the bottom.
4. Clear out any parameters there (mine said -windowed for some reason) and add
-fullscreen (with the hyphen)
5. Launch the game, let it load in completely and use ALT+Enter to check and see if it worked.

It worked for me just now. No idea why, but also just clearing out the -windowed parameter didn't help. I had to add -fullscreen.

Hope it works for you and/or you found a different solution.

Same issue.. its default to Mobile screen size.. and can't make it full screen.. even the -fullscreen does nothing..

On 4K displays the game thinks you have a phone and will show phone size with cut off edges. Windowed is the only option.
