Moose Life

Should I go for this or buy Polybius again?
I got Polybius back when I had a PSVR and thoroughly enjoyed it. I want to get a Minter VR jam for my Odyssey+ but I'm not sure if I should just buy Polybius again or take a chance on this.

I won't really end up playing both so I'm trying to decide now.

To those who have played both, which do you prefer and why?

Polybius is the better game, more impressive levels, sound and graphics. I don't see problems getting both games as they cost next to nothing. I have both ;-)

Yeah, I just know I'll only end up playing one so why waste the $7, right?

While it's clear you feel the presentation is better in Polybius, how do you feel the gameplay compares?

I'll probably just take a chance on Moose Life and if I don't like it return it for Polybius which I know is totally my jam.

Thanks for the feedback!

Saving $7 seems a bit trivial compared to the cost of an Odyssey+ :D

I can understand you'd want to focus on just one game at a time. I would go for a new experience with Moose Life and circle back to Polybius once you need a break from ML.

Moose Life feels like way more of a take on classic shooters, and is more about figuring out patterns. You can freely move forward and backwards and enemies loop in and out until you kill them or use them to do something more profitable.

Exactly.

Well this is a different game than Polybius, of course it's all a matter of taste about what you prefer.

But while Polybius "definitely it's a VR game", Moose Life plays very well even without VR and .. it's a different game .. so despite you may prefer one or the other I would say "get both" so you won't be disappointed :)

Cheers.

To me Polybius is the better experience (in VR), while Moose Life is the better game (in terms of mechanics).

Moose Life is quite a bit better

This is the best shooter I have played since Space Giraffe.

I was disappointed in Polybius. Visually it's very impressive, but there is barely any gameplay, and what's there is annoying, unbalanced, and has severe visibility issues (yeah, I know, it's a Minter game).

Moose Life, on the other hand, is also impressive visually but is a real, actual game up to arcade quality. It's much better IMO.

This one has significantly higher levels of moose.
