DRM?

What's with people going on and on about DRM? Besides Steam, is there another DRM with this?

It seems the game always requires an internet connection.
The game won't even run without it and it seems like it will kick you out to the main menu if the connection is lost. Even if you're playing the offline modes.

You need to be online all the time, the game wont even start if you are offline, and it will kick you back to the main menu if your connections gets cut while playing.

I don't think the PS4 version has that issue so it may not have been an intentional design choice?

Console players wouldnt had let them do this crap, but us PC gamers? we always get screwed.
Also, keep in mind this was an Epic exclusive, and there they dont have forums or reviews, so they could do whatever they wanted, this is unacceptable on Steam, but maybe they dont care at this point.

Still, Arkham Knight had Denuvo removed 5 years after release, when the game got released on GOG, so I think that, when this game hits GOG, they will patch it here too...of course, with the game still having one DLC character left, it might been YEARS before any of this happens.

I'm wondering if sales of KOFXIV were too low on GOG? I have the bundle there as well as here...

Back in 2000 they went belly up. All their products were removed from stores. I barely put a Dreamcast KOF98 on layaway at a WalMart as I didn't have $53 to buy it at the time. I still have it,vthe upgraded version on Steam and GOG...

Ps4 version also requires an internet connection. It kicks you to the main menu if you don't have a connection. So same thing. Idk why SNK would make the offline aspects of the game require online, it makes no sense
