Failed to connect to your twitch channel

Hi guys,

I would love to stream this game via twitch, letting my community vote for the desicions to be made.
However the broadcast mode is not working for me.

When I enter my twitch channel name it says: "Failed to connect to your twitch channel".
I tried to enter the URL as well but it did not help. I tried this with being logged into my XBOX Live account and without being logged in. No difference.

Does anybody have the same issue or even a solution for this issue?

My specs:

Playing on a PC
Streaming via OBS
Connected to XBOX Live

Hi there! Just to confirm, you only need to enter your channel name without @ or the rest of the URL :)
If you're still not managing to connect, feel free to send us your channel name so we can test on our end!

Hey, thank you for letting us know your twitch name! We've tried it out on our side and the connection works okay! I'd suggest trying to connect again :)

If it keeps failing to connect, check your firewall to confirm you are not blocking traffic to irc.twitch.tv or port 6667

Thanks for the info! This whole thing might get a bit tricky I guess. I am connected to the internet via mobile (iphone) hotspot as it is way faster than my home wifi (which is not fast enough to let me stream). So just for the sake of testing I connected to the internet via my home wifi and erveything worked fine. I could easily connect to my twitch channel within the game. Unfortunately the iphone has no firewall options but it seems to block the connection somehow. I tried to deactivate my windows firewall but that did not help. Maybe I should just move closer to a city in order to solve that problem! :D
