As it is, the description "a story spanning 30 years" is a lie.
Plus we are really not having a lot of good deep dives on characters like Dante, Sharon, Paul and most importantly Jim. The final achievement is also a very blatant DLC/Sequel tease like OP said.
The only thing bothering me is that there was no announcement at all? Maybe I'm wrong but I haven't seen the devs communicate that the game isn't complete... There wasn't a "to continue" at the end of book 2 neither... it's really weird!
But yeah, there's too many questions left without answers, they said it'd cover 30 years of story and the cliffhanger end! I just hope we'll hear about it soon enough...
Actually, I wasn't happy with the second book of As Dusk Falls. The first one was awesome ... the second one was too rushed.
I really liked the story of Vanessa and Jay in the second book.
You may not like the Life of Strange series of games where the characters run away from something while traveling around the world, but as a fan of this series of games, I really liked the atmosphere of the second book, there is an adventure.
Also, the second book tells a lot about the past of the characters, for example, that Jay is adopted.
About Sharon dating the sheriff.
Apparently you missed all these EXTREMELY IMPORTANT story points.
Lets wait part 2
