Is there any news about a book 3 of this game?
I mean it kinda end with a cliffhanger, maybe a flashback and a sequel with only Zoe?

just finished my playtrough and was a little dissapointed by the ending right in the middle of something.

up to that point I was fully invested and really liked everything about the game.

I can only agree! The story was getting a closure and then bam the incident with Jim happened. Besides the many other secrets just waiting to be discovered. I really hope they continue the story..

Although it would be conceivable to tack more on as additional "books," it does feel more like the intent is another physical game.

Tentative rumours of it being announced at the Xbox Gameshow in a few days.

The fact that this one just went on sale and is part of Steam's 'Xbox games Showcase' might be a hint too.

The story of this game is actually quite complete. All important threads of the story (of which there are many) receive closure.

There's just a completely unnecessary cliffhanger at the end that hints at an additional mystery. And if you replay the game with that knowledge, you'll find a few details that point to the same mystery. But that doesn't change the fact that every relevant thread receives closure. If you let someone play through the entire game and just let them skip that one last cliffhanger scene, they will leave with the impression of a well-rounded game that properly finished its story arcs.

I obviously can't tell you what to do. If you won't buy games that hint at additional mysteries at the end, out of principle, then go ahead and skip it. But if you're simply worried that the game's stories are left hanging at the end, you don't need to be.

Guys, please do not leave us behind with this cliffhanger and release book 3 in the future. I hope that is not another game with an open end.
