Excessive grinding

Hi, I'm really enjoying hellsweeper vr and now I returned to the game after a couple of months because lf the new updates. And there are a lot of new weapons.

The problem is I need a ton of souls to unlock them. It would take me 24hs straight of grinding to unlock them. Am i doing something wrong, or is the game just this grindy?

It's a shame because I love the game but then having to grind a lot is a bit of a let down.

if you go into a normal game and play it all the way through, (act 1 through 3 I believe) you should have enough to unlock over 1/2 of the available things. Upgrading is a different story. Make sure you maximise your profits at the end by varying how you kill, dont just shoot enemies only or just hit them in melee, mix it up!
