Half the puzzles are based on you being split up, not knowing what the other person is seeing or hearing, and communicating such things to each other. Splitscreen will never happen because it will prevent those puzzles from actually being puzzles.

Exactly what the person above me said. The key element of our games is that they are asymmetrical and that you both have different perspectives of the puzzle and need to communicate these as clearly as you can. Being able to see the other person's view would ruin this.

It's still a big shame these games aren't playable as single player, especially with how hard it is to find other player when you want to play. That's the biggest flaw with these 'We Were Here' games.

I have 2 screens connected to the PC. Would be a nice feature to play locally on 1 PC with 2 screens.
