I don't really have any speedrun tactic on that, just you can get all of them eventually.
so i guess i can do something like this right, just play like usual and then left one territory to conquer, after that i can just grind the reputation?
right now im playing as officer but as long as i dont join the final battle the game will never be finished right?
or is it preferable im doing that run as ruler?
Actually there is a time limit "50 Years" but it takes ages to reach that year XD
probably easier doing that as a Ruler, as you would have access to every policy. But yes, you can do that sort of thing, leave only one enemy, and grind your policies, by then, you should have a huge amount of rations and money too, so no worries whatsoever besides some rebellions here and there.
And ya 100% be ruler you unlock everything way easier and faster and get access to everything, including how to deal with rebels/enemies. ->
Just keep upgrading defenses (quick way to become benevolent any ways oddly) then send your officers to station on it and they will end it so long there numbers are larger though may take 2 turns (why you need defenses since they will win if it hits 0 on turn 1). -->
This often is also enough to stop them from choosing that location again unless there numbers some how manage to get higher then stationed.
(for player there also troop type suppose which you quickly unlock like 3 animals troop, and 3 more human troop types).
Right now i want to create a child character with Iron Wall ability (since most generic with legendary title have Iron Wall ability) as a template to create bunch of caw which im going to replace those generics
Is there a way to manipulate the child to have specific ability? Like maybe married with the officer who have the Iron Wall ability?
You can clone characters, but you can't remove the relationship unless they parents are CAWs, however, to remove the relationship with the CAW parents, you will also end up removing from the original. You can also upload and download your own character, leading it to lose his/her parents, but I'm pretty sure it has been said Downloaded Characters can't be editted.
another thing, if i really want to make that character independent from any relationship, i can just modify the clone until i satisfied and then i simply upload and download the character, right? even tough if i cant edit the character again, i guess there's no problem since this character can be considered finished and no need further edit again
btw can we re-roll the children ability type by finishing the last battle, and if im not satisfied with the result, i can just restart the last battle until i got the desired result?
I never tried replacing officers, so I can't answer that, I mean, I don't know if, by replacing the officer, things like names would be completely replaced. For example, if you replace Cao Ang, would he then stop being Cao Cao's son? By logic I would say no, and replacing a character essentially ignore the custom name and/or relationships, or maybe you can't replace officers with Children? I never tried.
Yes, that's possible, the other possibility is using Cheat Engine to change parenthood to no one, or select the parents you want.
If you check the Guide I wrote, my answer is: no, re-roll doesn't work.
However I don't know if you can, for example, if you don't get the Genius type you want, then you go back to before the last battle, and spend more time doing random stuff, and some time later, finish the game again, to see if the results changed.
We have no idea what's the essentials for the Genius Type, what I do believe, however, is that, if you want an specific Ability that is not Genius, you may require parents with that Ability and/or Similar, for example, Defensive or Iron Wall for a child with Iron Wall, Offensive or Vicious for a child with Vicious, and so on.
i guess there's no easy way in this game if you want that specific ability type?
i dont have much problem with this in term of gamplay, and i kinda enjoy it, but the decision to lock certain type ability only to your child and the fact what you get is random and cant be changed, now this is a bad idea
i just want some freedom on creating the character
i guess next time playing, i'll try to withhold marrying until the last battle, so if i dont get the child i want, i can just choose another partner and finish the last battle again
can you do this tough?
When I did that, the child always came with the spouse's ability (mother). I'm not sure if that's what you want, as I was trying to get Genius, and the fact that none got that was the real bummer for me, but if you want the same ability as your partner, then sure, it works.
so if this the case, should i use male or female in the next run?
like if i want to get the genius ability, should i just use female and married to cao cao?
maybe using female is easier because she got more partner option than using male officer?
or i should just using male and marry with the female officer i want their ability before the last battle? at least with this method you already confirmed it
and another question about the difference in ability type, this only affect much if you using that character right? like when i fighting the officer with different ability type/title in my run, tbh i didnt feel any different at all
oh, i just realize after some testing, if you use your child caw to replace existing generic officer, like wen chou, then that wen chou still keep the caw parent attribute
