Spectre of Communism mission list/campaign tree?
Is there a list of missions anywhere and does this game have a campaign tree depending on whether you win/lose a scenario or does losing give you a game over?

Hello
Losing a battle means game over.
There is a 20-scenarios-long campaign. 17 historical and 3 alternate history operations at the end (USSR vs Allies in 1946).

Great, thanks! I like that you guys put in some alt history at the end to give a little surprise since we all know how actual history ended up.

Is this true for all the strategic mind games? i.e "X" number of scenarios with alt history at the end and losing a battle gives a game over?

Yes. Although with alt history it is a bit more complicated in some cases.
In Blitzkrieg (German campaign) you get a few alt history mission like Sea Lion or Herkules in-between the historical ones (and you do take Moscow). After you defeat USSR you have a couple of alternate history operations at the end.
In The Pacific the US campaign is historical, while the Japanese starts as historical, but moves into alternate history where they started losing historically. (You can occupy Australia etc)
In Fight for Freedom the British campaign (1939-1943) is historical, while the US campaign (1944-1946) starts with Normandy landings and goes up to Berlin as historical and then continues as alt history Allies vs USSR.
In Spirit of Liberty we plan to have a long historical campaign and a separate shorter alt history campaign.

Thanks for the detailed answer, that all sounds awesome!
