Which Strategic Mind game is the best to choose and play?
Hi everyone,

I'm asking myself which one is the best to choose and play between those three:
Strategic Mind: Spectre of Communism
Strategic Mind: Blitzkrieg
Strategic Mind: The Pacific.

What are gameplay comparisons? Which one is the best? Is there any improvements between them? etc... etc... etc...

FYI:
I tried in past SM: The Pacific and I've been disappointed by its linear gameplay focused on turn base objectives with time limit. I found it very limited to its battle script too. I had the impression that I can't do my own strategy because if I don't play like it's intended in the script, I'll lose, that's for sure. I was hoping for more openness in the gameplay. More freedom in the way of playing. I was also annoyed by those cutscenes constantly interrupting the gameplay.

Is there any change regarding what I said in two other games?

Thank you all,

Go with spectre of communism. It's a few dollars cheaper than Blitzkrieg. Other than that, they are both a good choice

I think Spectre of Communism is a tiny bit more polished, and they are both on the same timeline so it doesn't matter which one you start with.

Well if you hated the fact that Pacific pushed you to reaching chosen objectives, well the rest are the same with even more optional objectives - i personally like how they implemented 90% of optional objectives.
well if you dont like to be pushed in pacific man then now in blitz or comunist you will be pushed even harder :D i like it personaly it give you some challanges. Some of them i cant even do and believe me i tryed like capture german HQ an Lubin in 1941 Blitzkrieg mission ( i did it but then i lost because cant run in time :D ) Or capture German Train in moscow mission

But for your guestion i liked Pacific most naval missions and battles didnt like that island ones spectre look to be more polished and more fun than blitz but that may be because all games of this type are german blitz and i am tyred of it this. In spectre there are some cool missions. And boy some desperate missions like 1941 blitz or kyev in spectre are way to much fun you can feel that desperation it was best missions i played in this series

the only bad point is that SMSC's ai is too offensive so even my task is offensive mission but i have to defense huge enemy armors at start

The Pacific is, by far, my favorite. I love the naval combat.

1-All the games are very good (Graphically) the newer the game the more things it has and they are all very similar, they follow a real linear history (Some hypothetical scenarios that are also good), you can choose several types of strategy, not only for the field battle (by land, sea and air), but also as weapons to your units, affects the weather, your heroes.

2-The turns forces you to think to think fast (although it is not the same as a game in real time), going through an area can improve or worsen the situation, it is similar to a real conflict that affects your decisions, your purchase of units, and the type of attack (land / sea / air), although being a turn game you have more time to decide your strategy.

3-What you need now is a scenario and campaign editor for the entire saga to extend the life of the game.

If you wanted to have a real headnut so try Strategic command-first or second world war!
