Performance Optimization
Hello, i know this is an issue for many people so just sharing how i managed to make my game run on 120FPS

Game launch options from steam:
-high -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -dx11
with this command your game will be set as high priority, will optimize CPU use and use DirectX 11 for improved stability (If stability is not your concern remove "-dx11")

ingame options:
high priority graphical settings, adjust them until you're satisfied with your FPS:
shadows, ambient occlusion, volumetric fog & clouds, screen space reflections, crowd density
Disable: motion blur, V-sync (force it through your GPU control panel if you must)

switch between Borderless or exclusive fullscreen and see if either of them give you better performance

Use FSR or DLSS for upscaling (increase sharpness to reduce blur), but disable frame generation as input lag feels horrible in a fast paced game where you constantly need to parry.
edit: if FSR is too blurry for you try XeSS (less fps gain but better looking graphics)

with all these i managed to get a consistent 120fps from laggy 60fps, seems like an only option until they release a patch or someone makes a mod.

Cool, will test this out.
Tried this, doesn't make a lot of difference for me and in fact it makes the visuals look worse, probably because you lose all of the extra rendering effects present only in DX12.
have you try uising LoselessScaling app ? someone said it could help you increase the fps.

it does help a lot with the FPS but adds delay if you use it for framegen, trying my best to avoid input lag or extra blur as game already looks horrible with all these settings lowered
Thank you, this finally let my CPU breathe, now that all cores are being used the overall stress went down a lot (only 8 and 10 remain 100% at all times while the other below 70%), the game doesn't allow you to configure this manually and threaded optimization of NVIDIA does nothing, previously the game was using 10 out of 19 cores of my i7 12700K and making all of them go 100%. :nekomata:
For my PC, just using "high -USEALLAVAILABLECORES" without the DX11 part works best.

The performance increase from DX11 is negligible for me, but using all available cores makes it a lot more stable, so thank you.
Glad to hear it, i'll edit it so people only try directX 11 if their game is crashing
Thanks alot will try again. Althought i can run 60fps now but in performance mode.
dx11 doesnt do anything AFAIK since it doesnt have directx11
upscalers and frame gen is only for dx12 so that dx11 does nothing when the game is coded for dx12

Wow, maybe I should try add those options as well
-SUDO -120FPS -NOSTUTTERS

On the serious side, can you please share where you took those parameters? Not sure that -dx11 works, because I still don't have exclusive fullscreen

meaning just fullscreen, not borderless
someone on the steam forums said this b4 but ill second what i saw, if you can, try set in nvidia for fore/background fps limit 60, then go ingame, enable fsr3 frame generation(some input lag added but i got lower cpu temp on x3d) then set ingame fps limit 30, along the setting that gives higher Fps in Menus as menus does not get frame generation
you end up with a smooth experience that gives less cpu temp, with 30 fps and frame gen it is not choppy and seems like a 1.5x experience from 30 in terms of smoothness aswell compared to regular 30, other then that i suggest pbo2 tuner with -30 for a little less temp for x3d
In my opinion, XeSS looks better here than FSR. FSR has this blurriness when moving that XeSS doesn't have.

Yeah FSR is pretty bad in this one. Using DLSS as for me it's still the best upscaler we have, at least for now.
