Giving multiple GIfts?
So once you give a gift that NPC is on a cooldown of sorts and you have to wait until later to give them something else.

My question is If I'm trying to boost a persons bond as high as possible, is it a waste to give them multiple gifts? It gives me the option to give the many of the say type of gift but I don't know if it will only count as one or if i will get more reputation for giving them more?

multiple gifts do give more reputation , yes. Personally i give 2 or 3 gifts maximum to avoid "wasting" more ^^

Cool! but why would you waste them by giving more then 2-3?

I have one character I want to advance my styles with and I can give him like 5 of these books. Is there a reason to limit them?
I'm not sure, but another thing. does it matter what gift you give to who?

Like, if I have a cat gift, should I give that to cat lady Taka? Or does it not matter what kind of gift it is?

The heart on the gift means it is worth double, but giving them two of those gifts is a waste, as the heart value only goes to 3.

Oh, ok. That's really good to know. Thank you.

But I'm still not sure if certain gifts are better to give to specific characters or not.
I'll try and find a direct answer through the Googles.

You can find out what they like by talking to them and getting info on their backstory for the most part. You can also use the accessory options in your longhouse. "People who like western development will visit more." So anyone who likes western stuff, would come and visit for instance.

Ok, that makes sense. I got it now.
But I didn't know about the longhouse thing. I was sittin' here wondering what that was for, haha. Now I know! Thanks

Could likely tell with the blue points you get that shows up on top right of screen. Which I assume are some kind of relationship points. If try a none favored gift that gifts 1 point. Then try two or three and see if you get more points. If you do then would appear it works if not then it doesn't. I actually didn't know could give multiple gifts at once so probably test that out myself to be sure. Since can just reload a save anyway.
