CPU Temperature
I have a ryzen 9 7900X and when I stress test my cpu temp hits 75 max at 100 percent usage. With this game my cpu usage is at 40 percent which in other games my temp would be around 60ish degrees but in this game as soon as I press play until I exit my cpu temp immediately shoots up to 85-90. I have even undervolted my CPU and I have never had my temp go this high in any other games even in cyperpunk with almost all ultra settings and ray tracing it doesn’t get close to that high. Is it something to do with the game optimization? Has anyone else been having a similar issue?

My CPU is sitting at around 81 to 86 degrees in this game, with occasional jump up to 90.

I most games it is around 60 to 70, with rare jumps into the 80s.

But my machine is using the stock cooler and a SFF case.

this game is a broken mess and forces your PC to work harder then it needs to because there is no optimization.

Yep I've never had a game push my CPU so heavily and push such high temps before my 5800x3d in even X4 & Sim game's never got to 80c it's usually right around 65c-75c under heavy load but Ronin got my CPU temps up to almost 90c while walking at the starting zone, something is not right with the game to be pushing the CPU so hard while not even in the open world.

94 deg C

I need to quit the game and wait till the CPU cools down to 50.

For the time being until they fix what ever is wrong with the game you could set your Maximum Processor State to 99% in the advanced power settings of windows, your performance will get worse but at least your CPU won't be cooking it's self.

60c to 65c is nothing to worry about even 70c but 80c and above is way too hot and is a problem for cpu down the line later on either way i get 60c to 66c this is normal and safe zone rip to those who gets higher temps then lol
i9 9960x. 65°
This game reaches 100% CPU usage at times for no apparent reason and needs a patch for it, that much is true. That said if your cooler system is good enough nothing weird should happen.

I played this game for two days using a CPU 14700 and an ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360 water cooling solution. The CPU temperature stayed at 95 degrees or higher, and my room felt like a furnace. I’ve decided not to play this game again until this issue is resolved, to protect my CPU.
can anyone point me to a safe temp checker?
