Tldr the patch did nothing
Running at 1080p, capped at 60, no upscaling, everything on lowest, speed ran to Yokohama and still getting frame drops and stuttering

3070, 16gb ram, windows 10, 10700f, running on ssd, latest drivers. I'm not expecting to run the game at 4k 120fps but not even a stable 1080p at 60 with everything on low?

I'm out lmao I'm gunna go play kings field 4, that'll teach me to get a third party key instead of being able to refund on steam

Yeah I think I'm gonna put this on the back burner for a bit and see if it gets patched up, gonna finally get around to Wo Long in the meantime.
All the patch did was change parameters on settings, not actually fix the game. Luckily its running fine for me without using FSR. I'm playing Wo Long also, cant get past the first boss at all. Been just killing mobs for about 10 hours lol.

You have the exact same specs as me except I have a 3070 TI and we're running it the exact same except I'm on high settings with no frame drops or stuttering and running on a 144hz monitor. I don't know what everyone is doing with their computers to have these issues but I'd recommend checking your SSD health or your settings again, or trying to run the game with as little background processes as possible. The only time it had an issue was when I specifically uncapped the framerate and then I was getting the slow motion issue other people are having and promptly switched back to capped 60 fps.

I don't know what to tell you mate, I have nothing in the background running, I've capped it to 60 with vsync set to 60, playing on a 60hz TV, I guess I could try it on my monitor instead but I play mostly on my TV with a controller.

Everything on low, I don't use upscaling because it looks like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I'm glad it's working for you but it's pretty shocking for me and I'm pissed. Everything was fine I was skipping cutscenes and rushing the story to get to Yokohama, had a fun time with the bandit chief, got the permit for the town, flew there and immediately went from rock solid 60 with no dips to 40s with the game looking like complete ass.

I don't expect miracles from Koei Tecmo but I thought they'd turned it around considering how well optimised Dynasty Warriors Origins was.
Tldr GOTY and best gaming experience on Stream.

Yeah... hundreds of people complaining about performance all need to check their SSD health... and don't forget to reinstall Windows!
