How can anyone enjoy this game?

It looks like a dog pooped, ate the poop then vomited. Then ate the vomit, pooped again and continued the cycle. It's like PS3 graphics. It is easily one of the ugliest games i've seen in like.. a decade? (with everything maxed on a 4090)

The combat is as ugly as the graphics are. The counterspark system is stupid, we have had a dedicated parry button in games for a long time (for good reason) . Context sensitive actions that share with other actions are peak L design. The enemies have hyper armour mid combo when you don't.

The only people i see "enjoying" this game are the neckbeards that dedicate themselves to montages of them playing or attempting no hit runs like anyone cares.

Gameplay is king, i dont care if the game isnt cyberpunk levels of graphics if the gameplay makes it up for it, and also i like nioh, ninja gaiden, wo long and team ninja, so an "Elden ring" from them, its enough for me~

The graphics are pretty sub par, I don't think Team Ninja are big enough or financially well off enough to make a visually impressive open world game. That being said I'm enjoying pretty much everything else the game has to offer.

Graphics I could easily forgive being lack luster and a gen or two behind as long as the gameplay is solid which is it but the performance is rather unforgivable like Wukong, MH Wilds, Star Citizen run better about everything in the last decade run better while also looking much better that is literally the only complaint I have with the game is the performance.

Simply not true, get a sharpener tool and deactivate in-game aliasing (use driver's instead). The map is bigger and has more distintive elements than Tsushima for example with a fraction of the budget what do you expect exactly?

The way I see it, counterspark is it’s own button, because they want the block mechanic to be it’s own thing. It’s been ages, but I’m sure in Sekiro, failed parry attempts turn into blocks, so you’re still safe (aside from taking major posture damage). With parry being its own button, your parry is punished with your actual health bar instead of ki since you can’t block mid parry. BUT, if you block and then parry, that’s different. You can pick your moment to parry at any time during your block.

I personally enjoy this set up they did. I’ve always wanted a dedicated block, parry, and dodge button.

You like Nioh which looks worse than this game but complain about graphics? And complain about ''enemy hyper armor'' when Nioh also has it? And if enemies had no hyper armor then the game would be way too easy, even now it's pretty easy.

The combat is perfectly fine. The ''counterspark'' is a parry and attack at the same time but it still works like a parry button.

Just and because you can't eye pry through the peephole from the closet (you perv) , doesn't mean one can't / impossibruuu have the game installed!!!
