Strict co-op play time

I was getting hyped to play this with a friend but it seems like there are possible issue.

So from what i gather only main missions are playable but it is possible to go through them blind.
So my question playing only strictly co-op where possible can it live up to a game like nioh2 or is it just too short?

well, i dont think this game works too great for a side by side playthru... but it could be fun to blow thru a few testament of souls missions bak to bak if thats possible


theres nothin to stop u from bein in a discord call together, n every time one player comes up to a mission, the other player can warp to the longhouse n join u... but im pretty sure u can only join missions u already beat

Thanks for this info. I think this seals it for me as we are looking for something a bit more active co-op and i fear this game has a few to many draw backs.

May well pick it up as a solo game but i'll have to think on that.
