Look at Nioh 2 obstructing my camera view, oh wait... Nioh 2 was competently made.
Sure, Nioh 2 doesn't do the smarter option of passing through the wall, but it at least lets me still see my character's general position and what is in front of them.
In RotR, I have died because literally all I can see is a wall.

Oh, I thought you only wanted to show with your video how the rotating camera behaves when the character is standing in a small corridor.
Then in Rise of the Ronin, many buildings have overhangs, so if you try to raise the camera, those block your view instead.
But seeing a close-up of your character in the middle of a fight isn't exactly helpful either. I think it's better if the character is then faded out. It's not perfect, but it makes it easier to see what your opponents are doing.
I RotR, you just get shredded because you can't even see your character, often can't see the opponent either, don't have anything remotely close to a feral Burst counter to get out, and block is much flimsier in this game vs Nioh2.
