How is it running now?
RTX 4090 and Ryzen 9 9950x here.

Game wasnt running great in 4k when I bought it weeks ago. Got a refund.

Is it better now or should I wait some more?

I assume it is just lowered expectations.

I saw someone in the forums for a different thread saying a game ran well on the Steam Deck. Another person disagreed, and they went back and forth for a bit until the person saying that other game ran well on the Deck posted a video.

The game was dipping into the 20 FPS range fairly regularly, but the person defending it was perfectly happy with those results.

That made it clear that, unless you have objectively defined points of comparison, different people can look at the same results and reach different conclusions on how playable it is.

Like I could not live with 20 FPS. I prefer 60, but I could live with a rock solid 45, since 45 FPS actually looks pretty good on the SD OLED's 90 Hz screen.

That has nothing to do with why the 9070 and 9070XT is sold out everywhere. It's because those two GPUS are better at rasterization that a 5070Ti despite being cheaper.

Not that you'd know anything about FSR4 when you're using a 4060Ti

I'm talking about MSRP, not the inflated prices on Amazon US. Also the USA is not the only country that sells graphics cards.

Overclockers UK is selling a 9070XT for £719. The 5070Ti is £869.

The MSRP was not real. It was unrealistically low, cards only had to be sold for that at launch. They are being relisted higher, and many people on here stated that their pre-orders were cancelled, and the same cards were relisted at higher prices.

The MSRP was not real. It was unrealistically low, cards only had to be sold for that at launch. They are being relisted higher, and many people on here stated that their pre-orders were cancelled, and the same cards were relisted at higher prices.

Your evidence proved you wrong. There are plenty of sold out entries here showing MSRP too. None you can actually buy though.

And even if you think that it looks better in one instance, it is faking the image each time, so it might look decent in one situation and like absolute garbage in the other.

That is why native should be used at least for performance comparisons. Things like DLSS are supposed to be performance enhancers, not performance replacers.
DLSS 4 is actually better than native. It's really hard to believe, it might be another mistake Nvidia did, like that 1080ti meme. It's just too good.

With that system and you returned it already? Just stay away, you probably wont be satisfied with any of the updates anytime soon.

As for me, the game has ran perfectly fine since launch. I welcomed the patches, they did stabilize the game more, i noticed that, but never as terrible as some of these other users have stated.
