That's unfortunate. I've been dealing with it for 50 hours, but after so long of seeing it- It's giving me the sense that the world is super empty knowing that 50 ft around me is wasteland with nothing spawned in it unless I am right there.
We all know that's the case anyway, but knowing it and feeling it are two different things.
For real. I mean it's also kind of ridiculous that if you see a wandering swordsman, walk a few feet up ahead, then turn around, they despawn. Like wtf?? I've also had NPCS spawn right behind my camera.

Very similar to that. I'm more talking about how one time I walked up a hill to this really big tree. No one around. I turn my camera to look at the tree, and suddenly I hear two villagers talking in a conversation behind me.
I submitted a ticket. We'll see if that actually does anything. That's not a dig at Koei, but I've never gotten a tangible response from my history of doing that ever lol.
I'm sure Koei sees the reviews, and probably think there are players who are playing the game on ultra, not even bothering to turn down their settings, then going to leave a review.
I suggested giving us a slider, and having "low" set to default to account for people who play a game, then don't bother messing with settings.
