That said, I don't recall anyone without poison or burn wrecking my HP bar particularly fast, though I pretty much never eat more than a couple hits at a time.
Notably, Midnight does unlock a new skill grid that allows you to put points into straight stat bonuses though (but they're not huge, if you compare them to your overall stats), so that may or may not matter.
you haven't seen difficulty yet
I hate three fight in particular:
- the guy that jumps around with his spear with the skill to break your camera whenever he does
- Kusaka or whatever this twin sword bastard is called, with his instant red dash attack, WHICH HE DOES THREE TIMES IN A ROW WHEN HE IS LOW ON HEALTH
- kid with fists. He is so damn annoying to fight, dear lord. Not hard, ANNOYING
I played a couple of hours in Kyoto, looked at my stats screen and I had 43 Skill points spare lol...
I usually have problem with red charge attacks from a distance. It's near impossible to get their timing right. Like the blade twin fight in ACt 3, he charges at you, gets near you and grabs and chucks you into air. Never been able to parry that, not even once.
