For 1st playthrough? Finally made it to chapter 2, got a good feel for the game now starting all over on the hardest difficulty.

Don't worry, only at chapter 3 you will have to pick a side. I picked pro because by middle of chapter 2 we get to see the good characters of shogunate .

Yeah, it's doesn't matter at all. I went from "this game is awesome" to not really even caring to finish it about midway through the 3rd Chapter. The "point of no return" decision still has you floating around between sides with no choice but "Do this" and "Please do this (persuade)". Being forced to support characters I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about against characters that I want to fight beside took the shine off this really fast.

Yea I hated Ryoma since the very beginning, was actually happy when obvious spoiler finally happened
