It only means your save is saved on steam's servers.
The code to pull your saved data from the server has to be implemented by the developers; steam only provides the server for developers to upload/download the saved data.
This is common for many games on steam.
The cloud saves' folder in the game's file structure has to be compatible with the cloud saves' system; if the developers put the cloud saves' files in a folder different from the one steam uses, then your save files will not sync.
Then how can I take my save from one device to the other, if its even possible? With other games I just copied the savedata file but with this one it doesnt seem to work.
I customize all of my save locations so (not stored on C Drive), but by default this folder should be in C:\Users\(users name)\Documents (replace "users name" with your windows profiles name).
I hate it when they don't include the code and this isn't done automatically on steam. This should be a requirement for most games i.m.o.
