Should I activate the pre order bonus?
I feel like unlocking all these styles very early is just gonna make the game too easy and there’s no sense of acomplishment…

should I just deactivate it and unlock the style legitimately ingame?

Yeah, ♥♥♥♥. I did not think about it and yes, the stances you get make the game considerably easier. Now I can't disable the pre-order bonus because then the game complains that my savegame can't be loaded.
Is just the ninja gaiden styles, there are far more in-game and you can use the others meanwhile.

They unlock in novice mode, so you still got to master the styles. I say enjoy what you preordered.
To be honest... I've not used them and I'm around the end of what I guess will be Act1?2?

The Pre-Order Styles are all "Shinobi"-Type if I understood, which are "bad" against ALL enemie styles but come with strong special attacks.
As I dont use Special Attacks besides from some which are usefull because they cover great space for example or to finish of enemies, I dont see big use in them besides from style ;)

So unlock them. They are not "special" or "op" and you dont get really strong items as well - everything I have at the point you get them was stronger by a mile.

It doesn't make the game any easier. It just adds some more variety early on when you're basically in rags. You can also keep buying higher levels of the gear from the ninja outside your longhouse so I don't understand why you'd wait. Pretty sure the guy you get it from needs to be beaten multiple times to level it up so you're just saving some grind.

definitive answer: hell naw

another thing you shouldn't do is do a bunch of side missions early on and get overleveled fast. you're gonna kill the fun.

also, keep your one weapon for as long as possible, only buy better when u feel it is really needed.

also, don;t bring allies into missions, do them alone.

i made the mistake of doing the exact opposite of what i just said and the game became easy and boring. but now i reached a spot where sh*t hit the fan a lil bit so to speak and the game started being challenging once more.

exact same thing happened in ghost of tsushima. but apparently i haven;t learned my lesson.

wow, I didn’t expect so many replies

but I decided to refund the game in the meantime because of the performance problem. my GPU is only RTX 3060 laptop. I’ll buy it again later either when I got a better laptop or when they fix the performance

Probably not your laptop that's the problem, its more likely the game at fault. There are people with much more powerful rigs that are having issues.
