edit: I had to switch from 120 fps to 60 fps
I will say I would have liked to run better without upscaling but once I messed with the settings I was able to get rock solid performance. I have not messed with the graphic too much , but on the surface lowering shadows and volumetric effects boosts FPS a good bit for me.
I can give this game somewhat of a pass given its an open world game, and for the fact that you can actually lower settings and get improved frame rates, unlike MH Wilds where if you don't have top of the line hardware you can lower as much as possible but the game will have very low FPS dips in certain places.
Overall I would say the optimization ok for an open world game. The need for DLSS sucks but overall if I can get a stable 60+ FPS experience I can enjoy the game.
