No idea what some people are claiming the game being unoptimized. (and i played Wilds recently, now that's unoptimized)
Peeps with extremely strong rigs are having issues too - just because you don't personally have them doesn't mean every single person who has them is lying or has a computer created in the prehistoric era
It's unfortunately just poorly optimized - that's what happens when you get a game with WILDLY differing performance per person even with only slight differences between the rigs in some cases
What's the solution when they rig exceeds the recommended requirements and runs bigger, more intensive, and more technical complexity (concerning AI, computing, etc.) at flawless framerates? You talk about the people who don't meet the requirements, but what about those who do AND run significantly more demanding games at significantly better framerates?
Are those people losers, too, out of curiosity? Or do you just pretend that everyone who complains falls under the same umbrella so it makes it easier to dismiss criticisms of the port of a slishy slashy game you like?
A friend of mine has a stronger rig than yours (not by a huge amount though, just a couple parts are a grade or two higher) and she's having severe problems with it while being able to run other, more significantly demanding games with raytracing, 4K, etc. all just fine, smooth as butter.
Unfortunately, as much as I want to finally experience Rise of the Ronin, it seems the port is shaky, because the biggest telltale sign of a shaky port (short of the game just straight-up not working, of course) is people with extremely similar rigs having WILDLY different experiences with performance.
So I just use the 60fps mode in game with vsync off + use RTSS with a 60fps limit for a completely smooth frametime. If you don't use RTSS the frametime graph is not perfectly flat the game engine lock is not great same as DW: Origins.
Other than that the game runs fine for me at 4k + DLSS Balanced + High settings + Post processing crap off and looks quite good using a 4070ti super + 5700x3d.
720p. Windowed. 49fps. I’ll take it.
I know right? I mean when the devs themselves come out and acknowledge performance issues that they fixed such as Fixed stuttering issues in specific stages and circumstances, or Fixed an issue where selecting OPTIONS rapidly at the title screen would disable further input...
These people seriously...
