The performance...
Ok. My rig is nothing to brag about but I can run most games with no problems.

But this game has something weird and I can't pinpoint what, I'm using framegen and dlss, and most games stay smooth like butter. Ghost of Tsushima for example. I don't feel any stutter or some flickering.

But this game even with a good rig (we already saw some reviews talking about the performance) it gets stuttering or the feeling that the game is trying to maintan the fps stable.

I tried to lock the fps in 60 to see if it helps but there's definitely something weird with the framerate. MSI shows that the game is locked without any stutter or frame time issues but I can FEEL, even it says that is locked at 60 looks like the game is having issues with the frame pacing I don't know.

I'm pretty sure that we all know.. I can run demanding games and lock my fps running most things on ultra/high with no problems but I even tried to lower the settings to see if changed anything but it didn't. I think that the problem is the code of the engine or something. I know that some people will say that the game runs butter smooth and I can believe because things change from game to game/Pc from Pc.

But I just want to know if there is someone with something close to this performance. I'll will not refund because I really wanna play this game.

P.S l: the graphics are kinda blurry for me. Even without dlss and framegen, don't know if everyone can agree to that but DEFINITELY there is something weird going on.

I think there was an issue with 12-13gen intel cpu when it came to Wo Long, something about having to run windows 11 or mess around with some settings.
Otherwise I would check if there is some software that impact power settings, that can also result in stuttering with their engine.

Personally the game runs great at 1440p with ultra. Does make my 11700-kf run a little warmer then usual, still within okay. I have a rxt4080 and framegen is off. game installed on an m2-ssd, 32gb ram. Framerate I target is 60 since, well, that is just me even if the monitor can handle 144

It runs like butter for me on my PC. Also, are you sure you set it to display at native resolution? It defaulted to a lower res for me.

The graphics were blurry for me, the performance just got worse as I played the game more and more to be honest. Haven't played the PS5 version myself but have heard from others that have, that I know, that it's pretty much the same and if not worse on PC. My PC can run Cyberpunk 2077, Ghost of Tsushima etc at full settings and zero issues. This game? Runs like junk and spent most of my time trying to enjoy the game and getting it to work properly.

Cyberpunk and Tsushima are not very CPU demanding games, so I'm not that surprised. They are both very pretty, but also quite shallow.
Cyberpunk not cpu demanding lmao

I also lold at that statement.
just like Monster Hunter Wilds it's another game that is such a blurry mess in terms of graphics

the gameplay is okay for a casul like me tho

KOEI can't properly port a game even if their lives depend on it. Every game they release has performance problems on PC and they NEVER fix it. Even the first Nioh has major problems to this day.

yeah, it does not matter wich fps u lock or run the game, i think modders will fix this pretty soon

That game had a 1.4 million player peak on steam. Ronin has 12k... really terrible comparison.

Wilds is a simultaneous release of one of the biggest games ever, Ronin is a port of a one year old game that flopped.

Idk, but to me the performance seems like trash. The visuals of ronin with everything maxed out arent good and the performance is very very meh. Guess crap like this will stop if people stop buying games altogether (which obviously will never happen). I hope that the gameplay will rescue this game...

Lock the framerate with RTSS to 60 alongside the 60fps in game option.
I bet there is a correlation with amd 'sponsored' games, and console games which have amd hard ware, that specifically run worse on nvidia gpus.

I still remember how star wars jedi survivor was so bad and this is from a big studio as well.

The non conspiracy theory is that businesses in the game development have no problem with bad launches affecting their success.

You would think by going with logic and correlation you would find the likely story, but apparently greed and no logic is the explanation for bad launches and no optimization.

Yet, rise of the ronin runs on the ps5 pro potatoe... optimized for amd but not for nvidia. Yet nvidia is the larger market share in PC gaming space at over 85%. How is there no conspiracy? The devs are owned by AMD and selling their left overs for PC gamers to scarf down and expected to please ask for more.

I run on amd hardware but I am also experiencing stuttering, blurriness and extreme pixelation frequently. I think its just a bad pc port rather than the game being optimised for certain pc hardware.

This game is not AMD sponsored.
Wo-Long on PC had broken v-sync, I disabled it in nvidia control panel (default was under app control) and it resolved buzzaw frametimes, maybe here is similiar problem? I don't own game yet to check it out but I would start from that with troubleshooting.
