The performance...
Ok. My rig is nothing to brag about but I can run most games with no problems.

But this game has something weird and I can't pinpoint what, I'm using framegen and dlss, and most games stay smooth like butter. Ghost of Tsushima for example. I don't feel any stutter or some flickering.

But this game even with a good rig (we already saw some reviews talking about the performance) it gets stuttering or the feeling that the game is trying to maintan the fps stable.

I tried to lock the fps in 60 to see if it helps but there's definitely something weird with the framerate. MSI shows that the game is locked without any stutter or frame time issues but I can FEEL, even it says that is locked at 60 looks like the game is having issues with the frame pacing I don't know.

I'm pretty sure that we all know.. I can run demanding games and lock my fps running most things on ultra/high with no problems but I even tried to lower the settings to see if changed anything but it didn't. I think that the problem is the code of the engine or something. I know that some people will say that the game runs butter smooth and I can believe because things change from game to game/Pc from Pc.

But I just want to know if there is someone with something close to this performance. I'll will not refund because I really wanna play this game.

P.S l: the graphics are kinda blurry for me. Even without dlss and framegen, don't know if everyone can agree to that but DEFINITELY there is something weird going on.

The graphics were blurry for me, the performance just got worse as I played the game more and more to be honest. Haven't played the PS5 version myself but have heard from others that have, that I know, that it's pretty much the same and if not worse on PC. My PC can run Cyberpunk 2077, Ghost of Tsushima etc at full settings and zero issues. This game? Runs like junk and spent most of my time trying to enjoy the game and getting it to work properly.
What is it about my pretty old 3090 - i9-10900K 3.70Ghz setup that I am never suffering from stutter? Is it the 24GB VRAM? My 64GB RAM? Is it because I don't use a 4K monitor?

It runs like butter for me on my PC. Also, are you sure you set it to display at native resolution? It defaulted to a lower res for me.

Cyberpunk and Tsushima are not very CPU demanding games, so I'm not that surprised. They are both very pretty, but also quite shallow.

Exactly. I mean I knew what I was getting myself into because there were reports of that.

But I dint think it was this bad when even framegen and dlss could not handle.
I was reading something on reddit and someone said that they think that is a problem with the frame pacing even if does not show on MSI...

So I did not miss the mark that much I think. Modders will probably fix this like they did with dragons dogma 2, FF rebirth and Hogwarts legacy, etc..

But still koei tecmo keeps dropping the ball. Nioh 2 I think was pretty good with some minor things but they fixed with the first patch if I'm not wrong. Don't know if it was team ninja that ported this l, probably some third party company. I would bet on it

I tried some stuff and for me there are parts of the game that runs well but I always feel the pacing. It's not a stutter per se

Don't know what is the right word for it. English it's not my native language so...

It's like playing the game at 58/59 fps. The only game I had this issue was ac Odyssey back in the day.

All versions of frame gen are broken as of now. DLSS locks the game to 116 due to reflex which screws with the camera like previous Team Ninja games. FSR works better at 120 FPS but has some weird frame time stutters occasionally for no reason(which goes away for a bit when you pause but returns). Then Lossless works for a bit then starts to break down and chug. Total cluster for this game as of now.

I am running it at standard with DLSS set to performance, and no frame gen, and it seems fine. If I turn off DLSS, the game actually looks blurrier than with it on.

Good to know. Some dude said in another topic that the game runs for him at 70/80 fps but it does not look that. It's pretty much what I think. MSI shows the lock working perfectly at 60 but the feeling is that it's running at a 56/58 fps. Definitely frame time/pacing. Probably it's worse because told the dlss and franegen problems u mentioned

The optimization is horrible especially for how bad the game looks. Sekiro looks better and that game came out 6 years ago.

Performance even on top models leaves much to be desired

The score is at 45% and dropping the more that people play the game.

This is not a new game. This game was already finished on console months ago and all they had to do was port it to pc, which they had an entire year to do. And the fact that it has PS3 graphics means that it should be easy to run even on low end hardware.

Truly a disgrace. It's so sad to see Team Ninja torch through the remaining goodwill that they have.

Monster Hunter Wilds also got review bombed but 687k people are playing that at this moment. Vocal minority.

I'd imagine it's a software rather than hardware issue, 4070ti super, r7 2700x, Ultra+DLAA+Reflex+Framegen 120fps even in towns idk man.

People that say this runs worse than Stranger of Paradise or Wo Long are delusional.
Frame pacing is awful,it makes the game feel jittery even on high framerates.

frametimes go to die on slow ssds, particularly open world mine been consistent on 6GBPS throughput
