Constant freezing

I thought i'd be able to play this with slightly higher than minimum req but it seems i was wrong, while the game itself seems to run perfectly fine with small stutters here and there, theres constant freezes where i can still just only hear audio, tough

its a gtx 1070 after actually lookin at my specs though i think the problem is probably my processor more than anything, i knew it was time for an upgrade for a minute and thought that i'd defintely atleast be able to play this since i can somehow play monster hunter with no crashes freezing or stuttering but ggs

no lmao i just have to deal with freezing every 20 min if i play on my pc, i play on my homies pc sometines so it doesnt ahppen there

Damn it, with me it doesn't occur with a low interval like you, it's random but damn... Have you tried with the patch yet? The worst thing is that I liked the game and it is horrible to play, I can take the poor performance but the freezes just make my rage skyrocket, I hope they fix this but idk, I give at least 2 or 3 months until it's reasonable playable.

yeah nah at first it would freeze like nonstop and then i lowered some settings, thing is its taking up like 5g out of my 8g vram but i believe its my dog doodoo ass processor thats holding me back,i've got an i3 and on my friends i7 it plays much smoother, granted he has a 2070 as opposed to my 1070, its just odd because im still able to play at 30--50 fps i believe its just processing the video behind everything else or sumn, like i'll be able to still hear the game when it freezes just nothing is moving, but yeah performance atm is a lil rough

Same here but not every 20 minutes. On the Edo map, it appears more frequently, but it's completely random. Sometimes it's once in 3 hours, other times twice in 15 minutes.

That's your hard drive struggling to stream in assets in a timely manner. You either installed the game in an HDD, or your SSD is old or external so there's USB delay. Remember this game was made for the PS5 SSD.

Something definitely happened with the game.
I had previously managed to solve the freezing and everything else by turning off Anisotropic filtering.
Game worked fine yesterday, even after the patch. Today it's freezing all over again, almost as bad as on the first day I tried it.
