They have a lot in common. The open world in Ronin is heavily inspired by GoT, just not nearly as good. More like a really low effort copy.
The combat in Ronin doesn't have the cinematic flair of GoT but there is more button mashing and loot if you're into that.
Also, GoT of Tsushima is a treat to the eyes. One of the prettiest games ever in art direction. If you're one of the people who can't appreciate a game's look and are only playing to button mash and collect loot then I'd go with Ronin.
I'd reccomend your own answer.
Definitely recommend GOT, although I only played it on PS5, not on PC. On the other hand, I've heard negative things about Rise of the Ronin on PC... technical issues, etc. They are different games altogether though it's worth noting. It's worth waiting for hopefully non-biased reviews for this one.
Do yourself a favor and pick GOT, there is no better samurai/shinobi experiece at the moment.
Is comparing Assassin's Creed vs Nioh.
GoT is the usual "cinematic experience" with mid and heavy streamlined gameplay.
RotR is a game with incredibly more deep, variegated and fluid gameplay.
lol ronin got mmorpg stuff fancy magic tricks and explosions as well as white smoke when you strike with a sword and fantasy animations, theres not need of a question whats the better game.
