It seems they are supporting 8K textures and perhaps that pushes things up. They should have made the high-res textures an optional download, maybe.

hopefully they did because i only play up to 1440p on occasion. i usually do 1080p for 99% of the games i do play

Perhaps you can delete them after install. They should be a separate download.

there are no 8k textures

8k resolution support =/= 8k resolution textures

I played it on PS5, and while I never finished it, I more or less explored the entire first level, which includes a small city and its outskirts. I think this game's a lot bigger than many think.

Star citizen turned its 218gb into a fine 89gb space, someone tell them to compress their files lol, but lets see the reviews first its less than an hour.

a lot of games post higher space requirements than they actually use, you'll see in 17 minutes what they require.

MH Wilds for example wants 75gb, but only installs 60gb.

Scratch disk space so the game runs smoothly. You shouldn't play games on a completely full drive. There should always be left over space.

I played it on the ps5. Game has 3 maps, all are fairly big. Lots of armors and weapons to pick from. You can equip 2 weapons, 2 range weapons, and 6 weapon stances you can switch to mid combo (3 stances can be equipped to a weapon, and each weapon type- there are several weapon types to choose from - has at least 3 to 7 weapon stances to pick from). Also, 1 map has a second variant. 3 player co-op as well like Nioh 1 and Nioh 2. Still, I don't remember this game being this big in file size on the ps5. It maybe from the extra features the devs added to the game.
