I'm trying my hardest to think of the similarities of the 2 but I can't other than samurai game with different fighting styles.
I would find it hard to believe that they weren't influenced by or inspired by WotS at all, that's how similar they are. Obviously, plenty different as well, they are different games after all. It's NOT WotS, it's RotR. Still, probably the closest we're getting to a new WotS anytime soon, maybe ever.
I'd also like to see another Shinobido (never got to play the OG, but Goh the Crow looks like a pretty awesome ninja protagonist), maybe done more like WotS. Other settings too, like maybe an American Western or even other eras or cultures. Being a nameless customizable drifter, showing up in an area with different factions vying for power that you can choose to join or not, multiple endings with shorter playtimes meant for replayability, that's a pretty cool concept I think. Could fit with a lot of stuff, not just samurai.
