Oh- they seem to be letting come dole people use mods now- so another reason there will probably always be console people. Sometimes I use my tv as a monitor and could pretend it’s a console….a water-cooled, ginormous console.
only for a year or 2 not much ......apparently they pulled ubisoft on ghost of yotei it's not gonna be great as ghost of tsushima ...we will see
One reason why Nintendo is still going strong. They captured both their handheld and console market. The switch itself is a feature.
The main difference between a PS5 and a SeriesX are system specs.
Picking either one of them isn't an experience anymore.
The PS5's main gimmick was the SSD which quickly turned out to not be as unique as they hoped it to be.
Xbox has its gamepass which also moved to PC.
The gig was over when consoles became generic budget PC's rather than experiences
have to play those games some day.
Crap i missed the bloodborne part. Yeah- as long as it won’t break the bank that’s hundreds of hours of amazingness between those 2.
PC's have more freedom when it comes to hardware selection and how that hardware is used. A PC HDD was always faster than a console HDD (or even flash drive for some reason...). And since HDD's were significantly bigger and cheaper, there really never was that big of a need for a switch.
On consoles, it was the only real avenue for change.
It was much easier to push SSD's with consoles than with PC's.
