If this game is emphasizing pronouns (I don't know if it is) Then it is no different from trying to brain washing people into accepting a narative that doesnt reflect reality. No one wants that crap irl but this is video games we are talking about. It has even less of an excuse to be in video games.
If it was ever about inclusion, equity, and diversity, when why does it always come at the cost of everyone else besides a few groups of minorities?
People reject it for a reason, even though some people aren't thinking at all.
It is simple really. Don't be invasive in other people's cultures.
some people are too scared to face themselves and reality that they want to change everyone else but themselves instead.
I am speaking about this issue in general. The issue is the same no matter the game.
My solution is to stop putting pronouns in games, and have male/female/option c so that everyone is happy.
The reason is this... 80% of the world will not support you if this isn't done when a game is made and comes out. Games need to make sales in order to succeed enough for you to make profit. if 80% of your audience will not support your game, you will lose almost all of your potential profit.
You can't afford to ignore your audience as a video game developer. sorry, but that's reality.
Furthermore we are talking about Video Games, so a work of fiction. Where else when not there do themes "out of this world" fit better? Seeing you have played some Games with Elfes, Dragons, anthropomorphic animals like the Khajit in the Elder Scrolls Series without complains lets you just look like a hate monger, hypocritic or a snowflake

Wait, so you believe that people should not be able to say 'hateful' things? Such as, should someone who hates racism not be allowed to express that hate? What about people who hate war? Should they not be able to express this hateful view? What about people who hate domestic abuse? May they be allowed to express their utter hate for such a thing?
You either believe that people can speak freely about what they feel and think, or you believe in driving them underground where we cannot as easily monitor what they say.
Best part of 'hate speech' being legal? We can see who says what, and then choose to exclude them if we disagree with their views. It aids freedom of association, which is a huge plus - no one wants to do business with some bigot and then find out later after giving them money that what they believe is extremely odious!

Donald trump literaly won the election, basicaly handed to him on a silver platter because of this. CNN of all networks had a poll that showed 79% of their sample said they want nothing to do with this DEI crap, and that 79% is a lowball number, it's CNN!

Helping minorities is good. I agree with this. HOWEVER! like i said above, it comes at the expense of everyone else so boo hoo! The idea was good but the execution is where the problem lies.

We're still talking in the realm of video games so yes, for me someone how's raging about such mundane things as pronouns in a video game ("Oh Lord why thou I have to endure such high expenses?!" s/) that makes the person even boycoting it nevertheless if it's a good one meets the requirements to be called 'snowflake'
We don't have to educate ourselves on that. It was created by a group of ppl and they wanna push their ideology on us.
A few percentage of society feel their sex is wrong. They change their sex and get it fixed. That's it. It's u who need to be educated that not the whole world have the same issue, and that there aren't 70 different genders.

There is a difference between hate in speech and speech you hate.
It should never be up to any one person, group, government or entity to define and censor what they deem to be "hate speech" which doesn't actually exist.

Common sense is that pronouns are not the same as identity. Identity only matters to DEI, and people who use titles as a intrinsic form of power and abuse it. titles/identities are "fake" leverage.

People who are so uncomfortable with who they are- that they would trust a doctor to get plastic surgery to change how they look, so that they are more comfortable with themselves instead of love themselves for who they are. a snowflake is also someone who has a delusional ego so big that they would project themselves onto others, just like you are doing with me right now, because they are compensating and are too afraid to admit it. Simply put, a snowflake is a fake person that runs from anything that holds substance, anything real. They are people that just want to be fake, and don't like it when others won't fake everything along with them.

The funniest part about all this (and kind of sad too) is that there are actually people who think they can fight reality and win. Reality is a force of nature, and one that sits right beside the niche between time and space. A few little delusional ego heavy people dragging everyone else in the world into this pathetic arm wrestling match against nature when it is so stupid, and nobody wanted to be dragged into any of this in the first place is exactly why everyone hates DEI but a few braindead morons.
This is about minorities? Then why are you picking a fight against nature, reality, and the entire world like it isn't big enough for these minorities? It sounds to me like this is an agenda that involves power and control. A futile attempt that hurts DEI itself the most aswell as the minorities it claims to protect.

Don't misread the context of "how little we should really care" in the context everyone is just going to allow it. Because there is one thing everyone takes very seriously, and that is what happens when incompetence and power hold hands. That is something the whole world is very sick and tired of, and we aren't about to allow DEI and it's invasive nature to replace a broken system with 10x more broken ideas.
