This video made me realize Ghost of Tsushima is starting to age

The only things Ghost does better are color palette, lighting and contrast. The horses look so bad in Ghost of Tsushima, and look how dated Jin's character model looks next to RotR. In Ghost you can barely swim and textures and water effects and snow effects are actually way worse, no cool belts or clothing accessories either. No glider, and only a head piece and one armor piece. RotR has a complex layered clothing and armor system.

GoT is a good game. I wanted to post this to challenge all the people saying RotR wasn't as good

I think GoT has the better visual aesthetic. This video is more tilted in GoT favor. The night lighting comparison at around 7:30 is a good example of why many consider GoT to have better graphics. Also this is a PS 4 vs PS 5 game comparison. A comparsion to Ghost of Yotei would be more fair. Then again Rise of Ronin budget was likely much lower than GoT.

They have pros and cons, I think. Ghost of Tsushima deals more with Japanese folklore, such as ghosts, aliens and the mongol invasion. Rise of the Ronin leans a little more into the realistic side of things and lets you build your own horses. They're both good in different ways.

Well yeah Ghost is a 5 year old game at this point and Rise is from 2024 I would hope that Rise looks better.

Also when games go for more of a realistic look they tend to age much worse as new tech and visuals evolve.

GOT is a ps4 game. Rise of the Ronin is a ps5 game but it looks like a last gen game and not a very good one

Both games look gr8 and have their advantages, and yes i own both. For me with these two it's win-win dilemma. Thx for the share
