Rise of the Ronin
Rise of the Ronin Belongs on PS5: Why PlayStation Exclusives Should STAY Exclusive!
Oh, come on! Are you kidding me?! Rise of the Ronin should absolutely stay on the PlayStation 5, where it belongs! This is a PlayStation game through and through, and the idea of it going to PC is just infuriating! Let me tell you why this is a terrible idea and why PlayStation fans like me are absolutely justified in being furious about this.

First of all, the PlayStation 5 is a masterpiece of a console. It’s powerful, it’s sleek, and it’s designed to deliver the best gaming experience possible. Rise of the Ronin was built from the ground up to take advantage of the PS5’s hardware—the lightning-fast SSD, the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback, the immersive 3D audio. These features aren’t just gimmicks; they’re integral to the experience of playing a game like Rise of the Ronin. You can’t just port that to PC and expect it to feel the same. It’s not just about the graphics; it’s about the feel of the game, and that’s something only the PS5 can deliver.

And let’s talk about exclusivity for a second. PlayStation has always been about delivering unique, high-quality experiences that you can’t get anywhere else. Games like Rise of the Ronin are part of what makes PlayStation special. They’re part of the identity of the brand. When you start taking these games and throwing them onto PC, it dilutes that identity. It’s like Sony is saying, “Oh, you know what? It doesn’t matter if you bought a PS5. You could’ve just waited and played it on your PC.” That’s a slap in the face to loyal PlayStation fans who invested in the console because of games like this!

And don’t even get me started on the PC crowd. Look, I get it—PC gaming is great for some people. But let’s be real, the PC community can be so entitled. They’re always demanding that every game comes to their platform, and then when it does, they complain about optimization or how it’s not as good as some indie game they’ve been modding for years. Rise of the Ronin doesn’t need that kind of energy. It’s a PlayStation game, made for PlayStation fans. We don’t need a bunch of keyboard warriors nitpicking every frame rate drop or demanding mod support. Let us have this!

And here’s the thing: PlayStation exclusives are part of what drives people to buy the console. If Sony keeps taking these games and putting them on PC, what’s the point of even owning a PS5? Why should I spend hundreds of dollars on a console if I can just wait a year and play the same games on my PC? It’s like Sony is undermining their own product. They’re forgetting who their core audience is—the people who have been loyal to PlayStation for years, who have stuck with them through thick and thin. We deserve to have games that are ours, that are exclusive to our platform.

So no, Rise of the Ronin should NOT go to PC. It should stay right where it is, on the PlayStation 5, where it was meant to be played. If Sony wants to keep their loyal fanbase happy, they need to stop chasing after the PC market and focus on what made PlayStation great in the first place: exclusive, high-quality games that you can only experience on their hardware. End of story.

After my post don't contribute to this conversation anymore. We should talk about the game instead in other threads. Don't feed him
Let me break it down for you: Sony paid for exclusivity to make Rise of the Ronin a PlayStation game, and now that deal is being exploited for a quick cash grab on PC. Yes, it’s a business, but that doesn’t mean PlayStation fans have to like it or stay quiet about it. Exclusives are part of what makes PlayStation special, and when games like this jump to PC after a year, it undermines the value of the platform. Sony may have agreed to a timed deal, but that doesn’t make it any less disappointing for fans who invested in the console for games like this. Business or not, PlayStation deserves better than being treated like a stepping stone. 🎮

you are just mad because i am winning the argument
and stop giving me clowns this is a serious topic for adults not a circus
The main reason consoles are falling behind nowadays is because they’re overpriced—between the high game prices, subscription fees, exclusivity, remasters that barely change anything, and the lack of backward compatibility (especially on PlayStation). When you’re paying an extra 20 euros for a game on a console that does way less than a decent PC, plus nearly 110 euros a year for online services that just throw in a few free-to-play games, it’s no wonder people start thinking a 1000 euro PC might be a better option. After all, why spend 500-700 euros on a console with all these extra costs when you could get so much more with a PC?

They buy an exclusivity for one year that's all.

If fans are disappointed it's on Sony fault to not buy the full exclusivity. It have nothing to
do with KOEI TECMO / Team Ninja, they just run their buiness like every company.
Nintendo manage to keep their exclusivity so why Sony can't do to same if they want ?
You have 400 hours in Ghost of Tsushima, your argument is now completely invalid!

Because PC is always better.

That and im not paying 700 dollars for a "Pro" version of a console to make the game not look like ♥♥♥♥ and retain the nessecary 60fps you need for parry reliant action games like this, when my 6500 dollar Rig can run it at 4k 120fps. Also, mods.

This is a great offence the developers intended the game to be one way and you are twisting their vision into something it's not! Make your own game!
